How to order
BookIT

BookIT sells used and out-of-print books, primarily genre fiction like mystery and science fiction. We carry paperbacks, hardcovers, and fiction magazines, from the early 1800's to yesterday.

It doesn't matter whether you locate a title from our search box, located on every window, or our pre-formatted catalogs (which are accurate within 24 hours, but because books can span many catalogs, and they only appear in this section within 1 catalog, may not appear in the catalog you are looking at).

Simply click on the shopping cart symbol or the words 'Add to Cart', and the title will go into your shopping cart. (if you do so, and the catalog you were on disappears, or you are shown a different one, just use the 'Back' button on your browser to go back to the page you were on.)

At any time, you may use the View Shopping Cart link to change your order, or delete items ordered in error.

To finish your order, go to View Shopping Cart, and follow the Submit Order link. This takes you to a page where you can fill in your shipping information, your email (very important, as we will send your confirmation to his address), and your payment method.

When you have filled this in, click the Submit button, and a confirmation of your information will appear on screen. A copy will also be sent to you by email, and a copy will be sent to our order desk.

Next, we verify that the book is available, compute the appropriate postage, and send you a final confirmation that your order is ready.

Once payment is made for the final order, the books will be shipped to you promptly.

Optionally, you can set up a login and password for yourself, in the Create an Account box. If you do so, the shopping cart will remember your shipping and contact information from one order to the next, and items you place in your shopping cart will stay there until you delete them or place the order, regardless of whether you quit your session, or even switch to another computer. (If you do not have a login and password, your shopping cart is emptied when you leave our site.) No credit card information is kept in this file.

We respect your privacy. Click to see our privacy policy.

Your want lists at BookIT Enterprises
BookIT
Generally speaking, we enter any books we acquire as quickly as we acquire them, so what you see in our search results is everything that we have.

But some books are so popular, that we would rather not list them in the several different web-sites where we list, as we tend to get multiple orders for these items. It would be much nicer to know there was a buyer looking for the book, and we knew who the buyer was.

So, we accept wants requests for items in the fields of fantastic literature, mystery, and humor, and use them as a guide in our buying trips. Simply use the E-mail Us link at the top of this page to send us your list of wants.
